Do NOT HP printers on Windows Vista Gateway.
2 of 2 found this helpful If you have a Windows Vista installed computer..espehilly Gateway do NOT install the program disk to upload the data for the printer...Your computer will go completely berzerk and many programs will disapear from your computer.You will have to go into control panel and delete the whole HP program. I now use Canon printers that work great without installing unnessary hardware that has nothing to do with printing. I also heard that Lexmark also works with Vista.
