A very long CV
This book reads like a very long CV and is rather short on personal detail as opposed with whom Gabriel worked, or how many colleagues and friends thought he was a fantastic human being. Much of the material is sourced from other articles or comments and I found it totally unabsorbing or remotely interesting, even the early Genesis period 1970-75. I would not recommend.

Avoid
This collection is a set (excluding the 1998 disc) of vinyl to CD transfers. The sound quality is awful with so much surface noise from the vinyl masters that in quitter passages, this noise becomes predominant.
Some of the CDs are short in length and some are not performed to the original orchestration. They sound as if they are Christmas shopping background music . Avoid this like the plague.
