Essential to keep my B&W HP printer going.
It is great because I can keep using my Laserjet 6P printer. This is double important as the non-HP equivalent which I bought last year seems to have disappeared from the marketplace. Long live B&W printers, especially HP!

This product, made by Filter Logic, is an acceptable equivalent to the Brita Maxtra+ original.
This product, described as "Universal Limescale Water Filter Cartridge for Brita Maxtra / Plus +" is perfectly satisfactory. My previous copy has lasted 7 weeks so far, compared with the 6 weeks I usually get from an original branded Brita Maxtra+, but this has probably been due to exceptional rainfall. On balance I would judge it's performance as equivalent to the Brita Maxtra+ original.
I would remark on the following deficiencies in the description of the product: (1) It is not a "Universal" cartridge; it is a specific equivalent for the Brita Maxtra+. (2) The words " / Plus" are a redundant repetition of the plus sign. (3) The words "Limescale" and "Refill" are redundant. And finally: (4) The manufacturer's name is important! The product is made by "Filter Logic".
In summary, the product description should read "Water Filter Cartridge for Brita Maxtra+: Equivalent by Filter Logic.

Novel product, very good.
Very well made product, exactly the size I wanted (15mm thick overall) to make up a file (a selection of vintage magazines) into a Christmas present. My only disappointment is that the outer material is flexible (floppy, being vinyl only) whereas I had been expecting a rigid (vinyl-wrapped card) outer. I have been able to mitigate this by enclosing card stiffeners with each of the magazines, which are mounted in thick A4 pockets, making it a little bit more like a "bound" book. Consequently, I have ended up with something very close to my expectations, and since this is the only 15mm file I can find on the market I'm very happy to have it. By the way, the spring loaded closures are in a novel 2+2 arrangement and are very light to operate, which is another plus.
