Bernie Krause 4 corners.
If you’re looking Xiong background natural sounds, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for interesting soundscapes of rare natural biophonies, these are all that. I’m mostly interested in natural sounds that stay in the same zone for most of f the recordings. These are sound adventures and as such are amazing a delightful. Glad I have them, but probably won’t listen all that often. They said, Everything Bernie did is worth owning.

Everything Bladerunner you will ever need
This contains the Final cut on bluray, which is the official Scott directors cut. It has a great 5.1 soundtrack and all the digital enhancements he wanted to update it this 5 disc set also has both theatrical releases including the international (more violent) version. It's fun to hear the voiceover, as that's how I first saw it. I also watched some of the work print (also bluray) last night. It's more like the directors cut than the tacked on happy ending version I saw in the theaters. Yet if you google it, you can follow along and see where it was changed for theatrical release. Very interesting and quite good-the ending is similar to the final version. Not too interested in the 1992 so called "directors cut", (which Scott had nothing to do with,) but it's there. There are also 9 hours of extras which are on DVD. I'll get around to them eventually.
All in all, a great package. Highly recommended

SACD yields some improvement
A perfect live album gets a slight facelift. Is it worth it? To me it was. Everything is more focused, especially Wertico’s wonderful cymbal work. I got it for $50 which is a lot, but its going for as much as $80. I so wish PMG albums would all be released in hidef as downloads. Having already owned the entire catalog, I really don’t need more hard copies.
