Old school light bulb

In this day and age of led and florescent etc it was almost cute to get a proper tungston light bulb. I've used lots of these in the past but not for a few years. After a few minutes I was reminded how hot they get. So hot I could smell it. I don't if it was burning the blue paint or incinirating any nearby dust. I chaged the lamp just in case it was the fitting that was at risk but I think it was just the bulb itself that smell. Its easy to forget old bulbs used a lot of power and all that spare energy gets turned to heat. All old light bulbs did this when I was younger. Importantly it did a good job of filling the room with blue light.

Pay high price for cheap and nasty

As soon as I saw the customs label say the value of this was £5, I knew Id been conned for 5 times that price. The kit was a generic kit consisting of the street lamp and a few interior piece plus a generic guide. Rip off.
