Picnic At Hanging Rock (DVD)
1 of 1 found this helpful There are film's that you see once and forget about as soon as you leave the theatre. Then there are films like " Picnic At Hanging Rock ".
Being the age that I am, I first encountered this film a tender age of, well I was no teenager, yet. But such was the haunting theme and visual imagery of this film. That it was not until a few years ago, when I was in my late 30's. Did I find out that it was, just a story and not a real event. But this does not detract from the film any wait what so ever. In fact it intensifies it, even more. As it has this Peter Pan effect on your soul. You feel that you, yourself, are transformed back in time to 1900. On that faithful Wednesday of the 14th of February. Valentines day. Even to this day I can not hear, one note of Pan Pipe music and not think of this film.
Do not get me wrong, when I say that this is not my favourite film. But it does rank high on the list.
Original Story : 10/10 ( never seen anything like since )
Directors Ability : 10/10 ( visually stunning )
Music : 12/10 ( would not be the same film with out it )
Chainsaws : -9/10 ( no zombie's, no gun's, not even a raised voice )
Overall Score : 23 ( Overall a film with more questions than answers )

One for Colectors Only
I remembered playing the DEMO years ago. But it was an early PS1 game. It has not aged well. Gameplay its clunky, load times average. Only buy if you are looking to complete a PS1 collection. If your looking for riveting gameplay look elsewhere.

Pole Position for the Master System.
If you like Pole Position the Arcade game, then you will love World Grand Prix. The game play is more of a time trial style than an out and out racer, still good all the same. The Graphics are large and well detailed and coloured for an 8bit game. But the best thing about World Grand Prix is that it also has a Track Generator built in, so you and your mates can plat a track of your own design.

Sound : 6/10
Game Play : 7/10
Hidden Gem : 10/10
