makes ring removal easier
It makes compression ring removal easier. I tried one cheaper tool first and it was difficult. Of course older installations may be more difficult even with the tool. I removed some rings which had been in place 20+ years and replaced supply valves with sharkbite quarter turns. This tool made the upgrade much easier.
