Excellent gun for the hobbyist
3 of 3 found this helpful This isn't the only cheap spray gun on the market, but it's the only one I've come across that produces a good quality result. Good atomisation, good fan control, and really easy to use. The small pot makes it easier to handle than a full size gun. Bear in mind that the 0.8mm nozzle produces a much smaller spray pattern than a standard 1.3mm, so it's only suitable for spraying smaller items. I make guitars, and it's perfect for the job.
The drawback (and at this price there has to be one) is the general build quality. It's usual to disassemble and clean the gun after every use, and professional guns are made to withstand it. This one isn't, so sooner or later some thread damage is likely to occur, with the diecast body being the most vulnerable. That makes it only suitable for occasional use, and care must be taken with the spanners.
