Some of the items I list came from relatives born well over 100 years ago. While collectors seek out these items, they would probably be thrown away if donated to a Goodwill store. A good example is the letters and cards sent home during WWII. Several collectors of these types of artifacts now have them in their own collections. So glad to have found this jewel via the Sugar Man documentary!
4 of 4 found this helpful It is amazing that this recording was overlooked by the US, while reaching the very pinnacle of success in South Africa. On the other hand, it's possible that it was too far ahead of it's time, in view of the fact that it still sounds great today.
It is likewise amazing that this artist was literally a music hero there, and did not find out about it for so many years! Searching for Sugar Man is a touching film that brought the amazing story to me...
Having listened to "Cold Fact" repeatedly, it's now a favorite in my music collection. Thank you Sixto Rodriguez, for this classic, timeless album! You are, truely, an American treasure!

Like a Tornado, This Will Make You Glad When It Is Over
For entertainment only, this is a menagerie of factual and spelling errors, strung together with incoherent sentences, numerous repetitions - and apparently no editorial review before being printed. Thankfully the curiously unnumbered pages are few. Readers will not find any "UNKNOWN SECRET" as the title infers. This "bible" turned out to be a sadly laughable attempt at covering the topic, with almost no pictures or illustrations. Barely even at the level of a comic book, this jive makes it appear that the "author" has never grown anything at all. This might well have been thrown together while the person was in prison, in a hospital - or perhaps even an asylum. Buy this only for the literary and factual butchery induced laughs it provides. Do not buy this expecting any useful growing information!

An Introduction AND THEN SOME!
This little book covers so much blues music territory that I found it remarkable. A fascinating dive into the past, present and future of blues provides the perfect intro for anyone who wants to know a lot more about this totally American music genre!
