Control remote problems.
This is for use with a compact Pioneer CD receiver. The tuner scans for DAB stations, but selecting one station of your own choice can be achieved only by pressing a key on the remote control. Does your remote work? Test it with your tablet's camera. Press a key on the remote and look at the tablet's screen for the infra red light's flash when you press a key. Another tip that may help if the batteries have corroded (slightly) is to clean the remote's battery terminals, using a Q-tip dipped in a little methylated spirits. This removes verdigris and helps to restore the battery's connection.
