Does a really good job removing the sparkles of dust from the air - that we would normally see when the sun shines into the room. We all feel like the air is fresher, it circulates the air by sending cool air upwards. Level 1 is quiet, but we've had on level 3 most of the time, which is quite noisy. We've still managed to sleep through it! The blue light can be switched off, I don't think it has a purpose? It's a fairly big egg, but not difficult to move between rooms.
