Amazing
So struggled to find a camcorder and they seem to be harder and harder to find on the high street. I wanted a good quality camcorder for blogging but also have infrared for night filming and a jack for external microphone and the vx980 was about £60 cheaper than the 990 but features are pretty much the same now I thought I might regret going for the cheaper 980 but how I was wrong
The infrared is amazing the video and audio quality is stunning even without external microphone the stock mic built in is truly impressive
It’s lightweight yet well made and I will get another without a second thought
Well worth the money with some amazing features I also love the multi camera feature so I can link my iPhone for a screen in screen multi angle video very impressed

Good value
I expected it to be a load of rubbish but in fact after testing it In my garden with some places metals and test ground it worked very well and found all hidden items can’t wait to test for real out in the woods. Well made and it works
