Good, basic, budget-priced paperback.
Reprint of a classic work on this topic. Zoroastrianism is the earliest ethical monotheistic religion, but it is unfamiliar to the majority of the world's peoples.This book discusses the long-standing links between two great faiths. To this day, in Yezd, Iran the two faith communities continue to live in close proximity. Iran has the largest Jewish population in the middle east outside of Israel. This book was purchased as a future gift to a fully qualified Zoroastrian priest who is my personal friend, but knows little of the influences between the two communities, as he grew up in India, where they have very few Jews. Important title on a very specific, specialist area of scholarship.
