Excellence of Service stands out for all to see.
Greetings. I purchased this Book as a 'Gift' for a life-long Friend of mine from Roscommon. He has lived in London for 45 years or more and he phoned me to say he is thrilled at receiving such an excellent Book. He is full of praise for the efficiency of having it Posted to him in NEASDEN, LONDON and he is engrossed in savouring every Page of the Book. On my own behalf, I too give you the highest praise for your Professional Attitude to your Customers. I wish you continued Success in all your Trading. Sincere thanks and Best Wishes for Christmas to all. John Foley.

IRISH TINKERS: The Urbanization of an Itinerant People.
The Book gives a brilliant insight into how Travellers/Tinkers had to survive in an Ireland that was often NOT Classifiable as "Ireland of The Welcomes". Growing up in 1940's and 1950s in Rural Ireland, I often came across Roadside Camps with Robust Tents and Barrel-topped Wagons and the Tin-smiths at Work were intriguing to watch. Theirs was a History that had never been written as far as I could find out as a 10 year old in 1950 and now.....70 years on, I am glad I discovered such a wonderful insight into their Lives ON THE ROADS and being Housed in Permanent Living Accommodation.....something that a lt of them fund and still find hard to contend with. I endorse it as worthwhile reading by anybody with an interest in Our Past and The Lives of Wandering Folk of a Minority Group.

An Angling Classic.
I first read the Book in Hardback Format as a Member of BURNLEY BOROUGH LIBRARY, Lancashire , U.K. 45 years ago when I was resident in Lancashire. It was a very stimulating read to me as an Angler and I must say, that having read again, the present Book in Paperback Format, that the same stimulation 'jumps out' at you. Anyone with an Interest in Angling could do well to read this Excellent Book. I Highly Recommend it. Thank you. John Foley.
