A Magnificent Movie
The true story of how a group of Jews survived the German Occupation in wartime Poland.
They were aided by an experienced gang of Sewer Workers who hid them in secret places
in the underground sewer networks that passed under the ghettoes of the city.
A story of survival at its hardest.
A most original true tale and well worth watching.

The Legend of 1900
The Legend of 1900 is one of a group of excellent movies which was given almost no screenings at all on the
Worlds Cinema Circuits, a huge film distributors mistake.
Tim Roth plays the part of a self-taught pianist, 1900, who was born on a ship travelling to New York on New Years Eve 1900.
He never set foot on dry land and eventually went down with the ship.
The characters appearing on screen are the pick of English and European actors from many famous series.
This Fairy Tale brings with it a soundtrack to rival the best on offer anywhere in the entertainment world.

LES MILLES
" LES MILLES " A Train for Liberty.
An Exceptional French Language Film with English Sub-Titles set in the early 1940's.
When the German Army over-ran and defeated France, orders were issued to French Officers to maintain the guarding of a large group of political Jewish prisoners until they could be taken into the custody of German occupation forces.
The French Commandant couldn't believe how dis-organised his Superiors were, and how they simply partied on, until they themselves, were taken prisoners of war by Hitlers forces.
A train was organised to transport the Jewish prisoners to German Concentration Camps, BUT, the French Commandant organised a large bribe to have the train re-routed away from Germany, and sent in the direction of a safe sea-port and its passengers safely shipped to a neutral country.
Things however didn't go quite to plan,and the prisoners ended up facing an uncertain future.
An Outstanding film and unlike any other about escaping Jews, An excellent companion film to
" Voyage of the Damned " made by Lord Grade many years ago.
The sub-titles add to the films enjoyment.
Well worth buying.
