0 of 1 found this helpful Recorded in LA in 1974, this album was produced by former Monkee Mike Nesmith.
That Nesmith himself was, by that time, performing as a country artist and Jansch was surrounding himself with bluegrass/ country-rock session musicians, the whole album has a very Californian groove.
I can picture Bert at the Santa Monica Boulevard venue just soaking up the whole vibe.
If you like early Dire Straits, you'll get this.

Buy instead 'Republic' or 'Get Ready' - not a bad song on them IMHO.
