Will not fit without modification and/or bodging.
1 of 1 found this helpful Externally it is dimensionally correct. But when you come to fit it to the bike it's listed for, you'll find the batteries terminal design will not work with the terminals on the Ducati wiring. You'll also find the the cut out on the top of the battery is too small to allow you to fit the standard battery clamp. The battery will start the bike, but you'll have to bodge your bike to fit the battery, which in my opinion is not worth it. Don't waste your money on this one, plenty other batteries on ebay.

Replacement fairing bracket for 1098/848
After pricing up a replacement bracket from Ducati, I couldn't justify the cost, given how easily they break (the oe bracket is magnesium....very light and fancy...but also very weak). I went for this aftermarket bracket/brace as the picture shows it not to have the large visible welds, like most of the other brackets on ebay.....so worth paying a little extra for. Unfortunately what arrived was the same as all the others....big ugly welds. The fit it's self is pretty great to be honest....and being made of aluminium it may feel heavier than the oe Ducati one, but hopefully it'll be a little bit more robust.
I took a grinder to mine, took back the welds, skimmed it with filler, and painted it a similar gold to the original. It now looks good....but took a little effort.
I'd recommend it as a cheap alternative, but bare in mind that this particular one will still have the welds, not shown in the listing.
