I have a Mac C20 preamp from 1955 and bought this advertisement
This is a replica of a sales brochure for the McIntosh C20 tube preamp sold starting in 1955. I have one of these preamps that I spent good money on to have professionally restored and placed in an original wooden cabinet. I intend to have the sales brochures framed and hang them on the wall next to where the preamp and two mono-block amps are located.
I would recommend these to anyone who might want to do the same. They are sales brochures though, so don't count on them providing much technical detail or a schematic drawing suitable for restoration.

Like the Shimano CU200 Bantam, the E series is another classic quality reel
2 of 2 found this helpful This reel is the closest Shimano has come to the classic Curado CU200 Bantam. It is primarily a fresh water reel due to its finely calibrated moving parts. It fits perfectly in the palm of an adults hand, casts smoothly and at great distance, has a strong brake system to handle the big fish, and just feels well built. I have several E series reels and love them all. The E7 is the fastest retrieve with a 7 to 1 ratio. Each rotation of the handle moves the line 7 inches. This speed is ideal for fishing artificial baits where you want to move the bait farther will little effort, such as a worm. The reel also comes in 5 to 1 and 3.5 to 1 ratios, for fishing slower moving artificial baits, like shallow diving baits or jerk baits the 5:1 ratio is ideal; with deep diving crank baits the 3.5:1 slow ratio is ideal. and finally, the reel should hold its value very well in the resale market over the years due to its quality, versatility and popularity. Just as its predecessor the CU200 Bantam reel has.

Recoated cloth surrounds
Acoustic Research and KLH speakers built in the 50's and 60's used cloth surrounds instead of the foam surrounds used today. Over the years the coatings on the cloth surrounds dried and became stiff and porous. This adversely affected the quality of sound and performance of especially the woofer low frequency drivers. The speakers would get so bad, they just didn't sound good any more.
This product is tacky and flexible, it stays that way. Applied to the cloth surrounds it seals the passages in the weave of the cloth surrounds. So, in these acoustic suspension speaker cabinet designs (sealed cabinets) the pressure behind the woofer no longer leaks through the porous cloth surrounds, but is able to move the cone of the speaker as it was designed to do. Substantially improving or restoring the sound quality of the speakers. These two vintage speaker designs in various models and sizes, sound beautiful.
This larger bottle was enough for me to coat the cloth surrounds on six 10" woofers, and eight 5" midrange drivers for KLH models 5, 17 and 23. I plan to order another bottle for a KLH model 6 and an Acoustic Research AR2ax.
These cloth surrounds have lasted 40-50 years without tears or failure, foam surrounds rarely last half that long. But it is essential to reseal and make the cloth surrounds flexible again, as this product does.
