We are actively trying to restore woodland cover to the UK as proposed by the government under the Zero emissions target set out for 2050. The Committee on Climate Change reported that the UK woodland cover would need to go from 13% currently to 17% by 2050. This means a planting rate of 30,000 hectares a year until 2050! No easy feat! We are focused and driven to give our future generations what they deserve. We need your help to achieve this. If you are able to plant a single tree the effects will be dramatic, especially if every home owner in the UK did the same. That would mean 27 million trees could be planted if we planted just a single tree per household! With 66 million people living in the UK just imagine if every person planted just a single tree?!     Received quickly. Only issue was the young saplings had been packaged in a square box, so the saplings had been curled around to fit in the box? Have never received young trees like this before - usually in a long enough box to accommodate their length and size etc. Will have to re-straighten out these young trees now. Otherwise all fine.
