It's like floating on air
3 of 3 found this helpful These are even better than expected. They are like floating on air, and completely silent. It no longer sounds like you you're moving furniture when moving around on your chair. I can work late into the night without worry of disturbing my family. The only negative is that you have to get used to having your feet on the floor if your floors are not completely level. Otherwise, you may drift to lower spot in your floor. There is so little rolling resistance that you may roll away from your desk if you have smooth floors. We have completely smooth Pergo flooring so that has been the only issue. Otherwise, these are fantastic. We installed them on a high-end brand office chair and an IKEA office chair. The IKEA chair required an enlargement of its non-standard sockets that the posts fit into. It was just a matter of drilling the existing them out using a slightly larger drill bit. No worries after that. You'll probably enjoy these casters as much as we are.

It works just fine.
It does the job. It seems to be identical to an item listed on MSC for almost 3x the price. Possibly the same source.
