Realistic and hopeful
An excellent read! It is especially appealing for middle-schoolers and those interested in the issue of immigration. Even adults would find it interesting. As a retired Spanish teacher I liked the use of Spanish expressions throughout the novel. Although the story depicts the many struggles and hardships of immigrants, it maintains a hopeful life view.

Fun for all ages!
This is an awesome little book, very creative and fun. I highly recommend it. Even as an adult, I find it interesting and cute.
