Amazingly efficient !
1 of 1 found this helpful I was very sceptical of the power of this cordless electric planner, I have now used it on a few jobs and the battery (my 2 year old drill battery) just seems to last as long as it would on my drill.
The bag system works well collecting the majority of the saw dust, and the flip down protector means I can place it down flat.
The wireless convenience is two fold as not only do I not have to look for extension leads I also don't have the annoyance of a trailing cable catching the work piece and destroying a steady per longed stroke.
I like the base guide plate that came with it although I haven't used it yet other than a quick practice
No big negatives it is quite heavy in the hand due to the weight of the battery but a two hand grip solves that issue and like any new tool you get used to it.
A hard carry case would be nice, even a soft bag - mine only came in a cardboard box

Well worth the money
Longer and heavier than most on the market, I find them ideal for testing 12 and 24 volt pumps and motors in the marine world. They also pack small enough to fit in my testing box

Good for pipe fitters - not so much a mechanics tool
I’ve quite a few knipex grips mostly from Snap-on and thought I’d get this one.
it's a clever idea, it quick to grab various pipe nuts of all sizes but I’m not a plumber.
I’ve found when trying to grip and pull it does’t have the grip of the standard design, the teeth are hard and sharp but the hand force doesn’t translate to the force to jaw at the tips.
However on pipe work where its more about hex turning it would be the tool of choice for me as there is no need to adjust the wrench.
