10 Round Disappointment
2 of 2 found this helpful The size and capacity of the magazine is just what I wanted. I hunt coyotes, and a 5-rd mag is not often enough, while the 20-rd mag is always too many and sticks down too far. The proportions of this mag are just right, in that it protrudes down from the rifle enough to grab hold of, making mag changes much easier. The down side is that it didn't fit well in the rifle and was hard to insert or extract. The stamped mag release protrusion on the back of the magazine does not work as well as those mags with a spot-welded plate on the back, and is prone to deforming in heavy use. Once inserted the function was pretty good, with only a few failures to feed. I will try tweaking the mag to get it to fit better. But at this price, I shouldn't have to do that.
