Decievingly small flint
The flint itself is not the rod with the handle attached. The flint actually sits in the larger metal rod and slightly protrudes. This makes it hard to activate using the blade as you are always missing and just scratching the metal housing. When you do actually manage to hit the flint, it wares down very quickly and less of the active sparking area is protruding, making it even harder to find. Suffice to say that no fires were started with this thing, we ended up resorting to matches...
