Good, But could use a better fan.
1 of 1 found this helpful Just exactly what I was expecting really, not that it's exactly what I wanted but that can be fixed. The CFM of the fan is not listed in the specs because it's somewhat low. I can't say exactly what it is as I don't know, but I can feel it's a pretty weak fan versus other fans I have that are the same size. To open the front, to get to the filter, it helps alot to have a bit of room to lift the plastic at the top a bit to get it open, otherwise it just about takes grabbing it with a pliers and yanking it to get it open. I'm thinking of grinding the plastic nub down a bit to make it open easier. With all that said, it's still a very nice product. It fit nice and snug into my case. Almost felt like it didn't need to be screwed in, the fan is changeable and, I think, the most common case fan there is (80mm), and it just plain looks awesome. I have replaced the fan already with a quieter fan that pushes more air from an old computer I have stopped using (like I said very common case fan). I mainly just bought it for the structure anyway not really the fan, I knew I would replace the fan which is why I say it was just as expected. I'm not using this to cool drives but rather to create a wind tunnel through my case, so I have removed the drive holder completely, but the point is, for drive cooling, the original fan would most likely be just fine as hard drives really don't seem to need that much cooling anyway (mine are in normal drive bays doing just fine), I just needed a bit more air flow for what I'm using it for.
