Sony Ericsson Z310i Mobile Phone
This phone is compact, easy to use, the menu is easy to negotiate, the battery life lasts approx four days standby and useage, it looks good, is better then the sharp phone I had before.

You pay for what you get..
On first appearance this phone looks like good value and seems stylish.
Be warned, it is a false economy and is cheap for a reason.
First of all, the touch screen is EXTREMELY slow witted, and also rather insensitive, so standard jobs like texting and working your way through the (illogically laid out) menus soon becomes infuriating, and very, very slow. A typical text message on this taking 2-3 times longer to complete correctly than on my old push button Nokia.
Secondly, the apps take an age to load, by that I mean 5 - 10 minutes +, just for some of the games.
Others often crash the phone or fail to load at all.
Thirdly, yes it has an MP3 player and camera, but no USB port, so if you want to add any songs or transfer your photos over, you need to take out the memory card and put it in a suitable USB stick that will go in your PC.
The mp3 player is very un-user friendly and does not cancel its self if someone rings you, and cannot be canceled by pressing the off/back button. That instead rejects the call and leaves the mp3 player running. You have to work your way back through the menu and switch it off that way which is quite a complex process and you are likely to miss your call if that happens.
It also has a tendency to come on by its self and cannot be silenced except by shutting down the phone.
It also manages to call people by its self, despite have in very effective screen auto-lock.
The menus of the phone are illogically laid out with fairly straight forward things like ringtones and display setting being very difficult to find.
Overall this phone is very frustrating and difficult to use and is not worth the box it comes in. It is surprising Vodafone would launch such a poorly developed and un-thought out phone as this.
This is one economy that you will definitely regret makin
