the chirping crickets/ buddy holly
the chirping crickets is a cd of the original first album by the crickets,to play it immediately whisks you back to the 50's.top class nostalgia from one of the most iconic rock'n'roll artists the world has seen.great songs including some of his greatest hits,excellent backing vocals from the crickets,fine guitar work with the legendary voice of buddy himself. the second part of the cd "buddy holly", is the first solo album he recorded but still featured the crickets on some of the tracks,also contains some of his early hits as well as covering hits from elvis and little richard. i have been trying to find these cds for ages,to find them both on the same cd is a bonus.well worth the wait.i just wish i could remember where i put my drape jacket !!!

the day the earth stood still
1 of 1 found this helpful a most disappointing remake of what was a sci-fi classic. why did they bother if they could not make a half decent job ? special effects were good,but the film itself was just a pale attempt to follow the original story,but failed. if you want to see "the day the eaarth stood still" see the original !
