215215 ORAZIO 1/2" Drive Air Impact Wrench Gun Twin Hammer Nut Runner 850N.m
07 May, 2017
Very powerful imapct
I've owned a number of impacts and this one is by far the strongest. I had a twin hammer impact from Screwfix that cost the same, and it was utterly useless, wouldn't loosen wheel nuts that I could easily remove with a long handle ratchet, so I returned it and bought this one. The first time I used this beast, it zipped off all the wheel nuts without hesitation on an old 4x4. I used it to 'lightly' run one of the nuts down before torquing to proper spec (105ft lbs), but it snapped the stud right off with ease, without even pulling the trigger all the way. So yes, it has the juice!

BERGEN Tools 1/2 dr power breaker bar 24" knuckle NEW 1550

Bergen breaker bar A+
Can't fault it for the price, heavy, well made. Replaceable head. Loosens wheel nuts with one arm that my 1/2 twin hammer impact won't touch. I'll be using this a lot.

Great lens but stop down to at least f5.6 - preferrably f8-f11
I am making a comparison here with the Sigma 8-16mm as many buyers may be looking at both and I've owned both. I sold my Sigma 8-16mm for Pentax while switching to Nikon & wanted a similar replacement. I picked up a Tamron 10-24 for Nikon quite cheaply in 'as new' condition for half the price of the 8-16. The Tamron 10-24mm turned out to be an excellent lens IF you stop down to F8 to f11, with wider f-stops down to 5.6 acceptable. The online reviews rightly point out that corner quality can be pretty low. After performing tripod tests at all f-stops with the Tamron, I would completely avoid shooting wide open at f3.5 or 4.5 unless in emergencies/super low light as the corners are very blurry, but stopped down it's great. It doesn't have quite the spread of the 8-16, but I find it focuses faster and the 8-16 has a bulbous front element which can not be protected! This means any scratches will show up and basically ruin the lens due to the extreme DOF (i.e. everything is in focus, including any dust or scratches on the front element), and filters can not be used unless you make a custom holder for conkins, etc. The Tamron takes 77mm filters, so this means a.)you can protect the lens and b.) use filters. For the money the 10-24mm is a great lens and carries decent sharpness (I'm quite picky as well). If you need the extra 2mm of the sigma (does make a fair bit of difference)and are very careful with the lens and don't mind spending the extra money, the sigma is great, but the 10-24mm is 95% of the 8-16 at a substantial savings, and will probably survive longer without front element damage than the exposed 8-16 front element.
