Don't buy it on ebay if you want a manufacturer's warranty
1 of 1 found this helpful This TV has phenomenal image quality. I don't like the smart features all that much and they sometimes get in the way when I'd rather just let the receiver do the work. Still overall it's one of the best TVs you can buy right now.
Mine simply died overnight a couple weeks ago. No damage or anything, it just quit turning on. Something like this should be covered by a warranty. LG wouldn't give me my manufacturer's warranty because I bought the TV on ebay, despite the fact I had only owned it for 7 months. I don't care where I bought the TV, LG should stand by their products. Now it is too late for me to buy a supplementary warranty, but I should not have to do that in the first place!
