Buckets of soot
Did a brilliant job - 2 buckets of soot from one chimney and 1 from another. There are lots of bends in my chimneys and access is a little tricky through the stoves but the flex in the shaft sections together with the spinning action of the drill meant the head seems to self-centre and it passed through with very little effort. No mad pushing, pulling and jamming. The clean was excellent – I was surprised by the amount of soot and how clear the linings were.
The locking buttons are a little fiddley to release but I would rather that than getting the brush stuck up the chimney and they’re still easier than the threaded poles which tend to wedge together!
