A great "prequel" to the Mysterious Benedict Society
I bought this book after buying and reading the others in the series. My children are pre-teen age and I laughed as much as they did! It is a really funny story and keeps you guessing what will happen next to young Nicholas Benedict. If you have read, and liked the other books, you will enjoy reading about Mr Benedict's childhood.
I recommend this book for anyone around 9 or 10 (depends on the child) up to, and including, adults.

Best lids
I like these lids, mainly because they are BPA free, sturdy and re-usuable. They are made in the USA, and have been for decades. Yes, there is a little bit different way in canning, you have to just put the rings on to keep the lid on, but not tight. If I have to re-do a batch of jelly, for example, I do not have to get new lids, just clean them along with the jars and re use them.
They do cost more (initially) than the one time use lids, but I have saved money in the long run. I do a lot of canning, and we use a lot of home canned food, and by using Tattler lids I have saved piles of lids from taking up room in the trash and ultimately, the land fill. I do not use them on give away items, as people do not usually return the jars or lids. If you home can for yourself and your family, I highly recommend using these.
