Really good adobe buildings!
I really like these.....
I bought these buildings thinking they were cheap enough to use as a basic 'shell' for customising. They are ...but they are a cracking bit of kit in just as they are. And you get three buildings for a tenner!
The MDF they're made of seems to be a bit thicker than some other kits that I've bought previously so for adobe buildings they look good as they have a slightly 'chunkier' look. The rafters that hold the removable flat roof stick out from the walls - very Mexican. So - paint the rafter (or just the bit that sticks out) in your favourite 'wood' colour first, slap on some cream coloured emulsion on the buildings. I only needed one coat + a bit of touching up so I used less than half the little tester pot (cost me about 75p for the paint) Then assemble and you're done....
When I get round to it I'm going to add a little bit of plasticard for lintels etc just to give a bit more depth but they're fine without...
Really good value for money IMO
