Pretty but flimsy.
The book is pretty to look at and interesting to read, but is not very flexible when it come to the moving parts--rather fragile. I doubt that it would withstand much use.

Timeless appeal
I read this book as a teenager and absolutely loved it. Since then I have gifted it to my daughter and to a granddaughter, and now I've obtained this copy to gift to a great-granddaughter. This copy is a much nicer one than the others I obtained.

Coffee extract hard to find
The coffee extract is exactly what I needed for some recipes I want to try, and I literally could not find it anywhere except on eBay. I am familiar with the quality of the Watkins brand, and this extract lives up to the Watkins reputation.
