Looks odd but it gets the job done,
Very firm, holds its shape.Feels great and supports your head too.

Not great...Look for a steel caster instead.
2 of 3 found this helpful Aluminium is much too brittle and thin to give a proper support. Look for a steel one instead for strength. I have had three Aluminium casters that have broken on me. I am 25 st. well within the tolerance of the caster.

Would buy again for my other chairs
It is the base. It is so strong and not like all the rest. It can take a lot of abuse and still wont break.
