They then messaged to say that they’d promised it to someone on Facebook and therefore I wouldn’t be receiving it and proceeded to ask if they could refund me outside of eBay via bank transfer so that I, the buyer, wouldnt “lose money on the fees” ? All seems super dodgey looking back. Total waste of time and I £450 out of pocket while I waited for a refund.
