Excellent mid-sized lab PSU
Ilve been using this PSU for a few weeks now and it has performed flawlessly, the output is stable and very accurate. It offers the minimum number of simple and intuitive controls to configure it to output exactly what you need - either a fixed voltage or current - and the status of the channel outputs can be seen at a glance on beautiful large display. Other lab PSUs can be quite complicated in this respect but then thses are designed for more complex tasks. There are two fully controllable variable 3A outputs and a third which can provide three fixed voltages (which is useful for just powering your PCB whilst using the other two channels for something more interesting). The fan is not silent but will likely not be the loudest thing in your lab, on my bench it is easily drowned out by the noise of a Tektronix 'scope. At this price I have no hesitation recommending it to you. If you need the more esoteric power controls then be prepared to pay 2x the asking price of this unit.

Works just fine - and a great price.
None of my current PC's use a 3-/12" floppy drive anymore and I was in the position where I needed to update the firmware on an elderly piece of hardware that used such a floppy drive. My motherboards don't even have floppy drive interfaces so a cludged connection was not possible. Hence I bought this cheap USB floppy drive for a single purpose. I just plugged it in and the drive was instantly recognised and away you go. Formatted four (ancient) 3-1/2" disks and copied the firmware onto them, and upgraded my Tektronix oscilloscope. I was a little worried that the very low asking price would mean it was garbage but the drive appears well made and functions perfectly.
