A nice & cheap commuter car

I bought a 1991 Miata as a commuter car. I had a Jaguar before. The Miata is less comfortable of course, but the spare parts are much much cheaper and the gas mileage much higher. With an 8 gal. fillup, I do the same commute as with my 17 gal. Jaguar fillup. The paint quality is not so good, though, and some plastic parts have cracked with the sun and need be replaced.
