Just what I wanted.
I use it in conjunction with my regular g5 massagers, to get massage perpendicular to the skin surface, so this way I can get massage in all 3 spatial dimensions.

Passable condition now, but shows potential for restoration to like-new condition
It has a couple of problems. First, it has trouble starting, which could be due to needing a start capacitor and second, there is some slight sparking inside the unit, which could be due to loose wire connections or maybe brushes. Again I haven't taken it apart, so I'm just guessing.
On the plus side, it's very quiet once it's running and all of its problems seem to be electrical - not mechanical - which gives me real hope for fixing the unit. At some point, I'll probably take it apart and attend to its issues, and frankly I've had to do that with every other used massager I've purchased on ebay, so I don't consider this a big deal. And all have worked fabulously well after just a little bit of work, so I suspect this unit will be no different.
