Acheivable
Fact 1; I found this replacement very easy to fit.
Fact 2; I found the item was manufactured to a slightly wider gauge and took up more room than the laptop casing recesses were designed.
Fact 3; Fully open lid deflection is only possible to 98%.
Fact 4; This item will get you out of trouble and has value.

Attractive price.
1 of 1 found this helpful As expected but only brings 12.7TB to my Windows 10 system so bear that in mind. The drive isn't completely silent as you do get a periodic light knocking sound when in operation but this is normal for HDD. Extra desk mounting material would help to reduce. I wouldn't classify this drive as noisy or annoying. On-board power button is available for unit shut-down. The data lead length is around 3ft. Power cable length is ample.
