Nice item to be able to keep a spare phone battery charged whist using the phone. The clip is a good idea to fit batteries of several sizes, but sadly the idea is flawed, since it does not apply enough pressure to keep the battery secured. I found that an elastic band does a much better size in keeping the battery firm against the contacts. Ratings are flawed. A battery is charged at about 200-300mA, average. For a smartphone with a 3000mAh battery, expect charging to take about 10-12 hours. You should NOT use the internal power supply. Use only with an A to A USB cable from a good quality USB charger. It will take the same time, but will work safely. Built in power supply overheats, has a maximum output of 4V @ 400mA (5.7V @ no load) and its incredibly dangerous as no clearance exists from the rectified mains (170-340V) to the low voltage section. Just to give an idea, the USB shielding is 0.5mm away from one of the AC live terminals. All in one, for the price is not a bad item, but do understand the risks of using it.
