The title says it all
This beautiful little book (postcard size) provides excellent photos and descriptions of 41 breeds of sheep found primarily in the United Kingdom although many of the breeds are now common in the United States, Australia and Europe. Two facing pages are devoted to each breed: one side offers its history, location and key physical points and the facing page a lovely photo of the breed. The small size of the book makes it very convenient to carry in a pocket or backpack. Highly recommended.

Fairy-Tale Magic in NYC
Nobody does believable "wide-eyed sweet" better these days than Amy Adams and she's at her best here as the fairy-tale maiden marooned in real-world NYC because of the evil Queen's spell. This amalgam of fairy-tale and comedy works on all levels and can be enjoyed by the whole family, although the kids won't get all the gags or allusions. Patrick Dempsey and Susan Sarandon are fine, as always, but the wonderful unexpected comic performances by James Marsden and Timothy Spall are not to be missed. Gorgeous production numbers (Adams has a very good voice and does her own singing) add to the magic. Will true love conquer all? You betcha!

Udderly Charming
It's a good thing that cows are not into political correctness because this mug would undoubtedly tick them off! I love cows and think of them while enjoying my coffee in this well-crafted sturdy Holstein patterned mug. The large 20 oz capacity means not having to get up to refill the mug too often but it's microwave-safe if you do need to reheat your brew. The cute little silicon tips on the "udders" keep the mug from sliding on the counter or tabletop. All in all, this udderly charming mug is a delightful find and is something I'll be using for a long, long time.
