Great idea but really poor quality.
On paper this wake up clock sounds great. Full of features and the perfect addition to a bedside cabinet/table. When it arrives though the disappointment begins. It's cheap... not in terms of the price but in terms of its build quality and its ability to make decent use of the features it has. Firstly its appearance. It looks like something you'd buy off a Chinese discount technology website such as Wish or Geek for maybe £10. Its a cheap white plastic with a stand which is laughable if not useless. The speakers are too weak to wake anyone who isn't a 'light' sleeper (pun). The recorded noises you'd have to be very close to in order for them to be heard while asleep. Plus, they are also so short that you soon get fed up of the same sounds being repeated again and again and again - so not much use as background noise if you want nature sounds to get to sleep. The clock is designed to run on AA batteries so this kind of build, duration and power use are somewhat to be expected but at the price beings asked, you'd expect it to be designed to work from mains as a primary use. The clock is pretty normal....orange figures on black background, not very good as a time keeper either surprisingly.
All-in-all I don't believe its worth the money. A tenner (£10) maybe....£20-30?? No chance! Pay a bit more for a better alternative.
