Vw T5 T6 Seat Swivel Base Handbrake Relocation Kit Transporter RHD 2003 On

Good product - but adjust cable underneath van before fitting inside adjuster

does what it says, lowers Handbrake by relocating it approx 3" lower, but also 1" outwards. Moves it closer to the middle of the space between the seats. Main thing I found was to take the cable slack up underneath the van before adjusting the front cable otherwise you end up to either a lot of cable and therefore unable to get the handbrake sleeve back on or reaching the end of adjustment, or even as I did, snapping the cable when I reached the end of adjustment and did not realize, gave it a extra turn as did not know it had reached its end of travel and snap - new handbrake cable needed... it did not take a lot of effort to snap... so adjust the cable underneath to take as much slack out as possible before doing the in cabin adjustment, also means the handbrake sleeve will fit and hence no one would guess you have done anything anyway, see photo of T5.1 2013 with it fitted, if you did not know you would assume it was factory fitted.

does it work....Yes

It works slightly better than those magnetic stumpy aerials you can get plus you can put some self adhesive velco and place it around you home, motorhome, cavan easy without damaging anything. I am very pleased
