Unable to play MP3 files.
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought this when my Seagate wireless network drive died.. Looked perfect and does what is says on the tin storage wise.... however please be aware this item WILL NOT play mp3 files through the cloud app. You can see them on the cloud side of things but they will not play and you get the unsupported sign. My way around this was to map the drive as a normal network drive on a pc [nas storage]... transfer MP3 files into that folder, and use file browser on my iphone 7 to play these. Downside is that you can no longer see the files when your away from home... but that's fine for me as I only use mp3 files at home. Everything else is fine..just be aware if you store mp3 files on the cloud server side files you will not be able to play them on anything.
