Great sound, super easy to use
As an avid HiFi enthusiast, I changed from a Conrad Johnson 2 channel system and replaced my preamp with this unit. Depth of the low bass was the only change, which is most likely due to the crossover on the NR, which is built for the addition of a sub, whereas the CJ preamp did not have any way of adding a sub.
HEOS is awesome, we can control the music from anywhere in the house from our phones. Next step is to add a sub and some HEOS speakers throughout the house.

Love the whole HEOS line
I own a HS1, HS3, HS5 and HS7. They all sound different and have their own strengths and weaknesses, but overall the brand has very high quality sound. I am an old school 2 channel hifi guy running Conrad Johnson equipment and Kappa 8.1 II's... so quality sound is important to me. The HEOS line has been an amazing addition to our home, bringing sound into many different rooms.
