Real Sheepskin Mitt Car Soft Polishing GLOVE LAMBSWOOL WASHING CLEANING POLISH

Far better than a sponge but completely synthetic in my opinion
I've used a lot of different methods to clean cars over the years but a wool mitt is just about the best way to protect your paint, the better the protection on your paint the easier it is to clean.
I'd place this on par with a Noodle Mitt, it is comfortable and has a sleeved inner so it is well made but the durability and how easy it is to wash/rinse is not quite up to the Noodle Mitt and falls along way short of a real wool mitt however saying that, if you want something to wash the sills and arches which get heavier gunk then for the money they are very good. I've used them at least 3 times now and at first I was worried how they would dry but they appear to air dry quite well so far in the garage.
Overall, good for the price. If you want a real one then spend 3 or more times the money.
ps. If you love your paintwork and still use a sponge read up on the "two bucket wash" method. No more sponge :)

Gtechniq G1 and G4 Rain Repellent Sealant and Glass Polish Kit RainX

Preparation is key
I would recommend people view some you tube videos on how to clean the screen properly, the G4 will do a great job but it can't simply magic several years of grime away with a light polish, the product will still work but the better the preparation the longer it will last.
I'd also recommend you get new wiper blades as old wiper blades will have small ridges from the previous dirt on the screen, this will wipe unevenly and reduce the longevity of the product.
You will also require several clean microfiber cloths and some form of panel wipe or IPA (alcohol wipe), the IPA will flash off and remove any left over oils or resins.
Steps of use: (instructions not included)
Wash the windscreen screen
Avoid product on all rubbers and plastics. Best to tape them to be on the safe side.
Polish if required with rotary or machine of choice (optional)
Apply G4 in small circular motion using a cloth (the G4 is just a good cleaner)
Remove all G4 dried product. Use fresh G4 if you have stubborn dried on bits.
Spray and wipe screen with panel wipe/IPA to remove any excess G4 that may be bonded on.
Using the cotton pads:
Apply G1 in large small circles. allow 5 minutes to begin first cure,
Apply a second coat in small circles, allow 5 minutes to begin cure,
Apply a third coat in straight lines up and down the screen
Allow 15 minutes (not much longer, you may want to apply a layer to other glass if you're doing all glass.
Apply G2 to a pad and use it to remove the residue by applying it over the whole screen
Wipe clean with a new microfiber cloth.
Don't apply in sub 5 degrees temperature and allow to fully cure for an hour before getting the screen wet.
adding 3 coats as above should last 20,000 miles or about 2 years.
