Great taps for low pressure systems
I always favor Ideal Standard for brassware as they seem to design with the British market in mind, which is usually a gravity fed low pressure system. When they state a tap is suitable for low pressure they also give a flow rate per minute which many other brassware companies will not do. If you buy from cheaper makes that claim a tap is suitable for low pressure you will get water from it but probably not a lot! Always find out what the flow rate per minute will be to avoid disappointment. Who wants a tap that takes half an hour to fill basin? This tap is perfect mix of form and function - it has a practical swivel spout and is designed by a leading British architect. Even at my awful 0.1 bar of pressure it works really well. Would definitely recommend. Hopefully they will wear as well as my 6 year old Ideal Standard taps that look and feel brand new.
