The book is lovely, full of patterns tha...

The book is lovely, full of patterns that my grandsons want me to knit for them, however, the instructions are a bit confusing, such as: The yarn is revered to as double knit, 10 ply and Aran all in the same pattern. Some bits are left to the knitters experience, which is hard if you are a beginner. Not sure if I want to recommend this book.
