Good quality unit

Amazing Manual, they dont make manuals like this any more
I started reading this book and I couldn't put it down. It gives you every measurement and explains every aspect of design and construction needed to build your own PDL- II from scratch and detailed instructions on how to tune it properly and how to get the most out of your transmission lines. there isn't anything that is left out. if you are 1/2 mechanically inclined then you can build and tune this antenna with a 10 - 13 db gain depending on how high you mount it it even tells you that. I am totally blown away with this manual and it is of the highest quality too. I cant say enough about this item % stars isn't enough in my opinion I remember 25 years ago guys with these antennas out doing every other antenna in the area I cant wait to build mine, I have an idea how to construct the two hubs using a block of 1 inch Lexan everything else is easy happy building, I ordered the moonraker book too so I will post a review on it once I get it

Handy little radio
I bought it to receive signals from some customers that I deal with but with the Cap mod I did on it, now I can talk to the yard guys and 8 miles away no problem.
