Grains versus powder kefir starter

I have given it 3 stars because my grains don’t look anything like in your picture when they arrived.And they certainly don’t look like that now after a couple of weeks of culturing. Perhaps it will take quite a while for it to look like your clumps. They have certainly multiplied in quantity.They taste fine so I will persist in making kefir out of them. I had been making kefir from Lakeland’s powder starter, certainly easier and successfully for more than 6 months with the same starter till I decided to switch over to grains.
